In the future, everyone will be famous for fifteen [megabytes].

15 Megs of Fame. From the creators of Threadless (and pretty much the same thing but for music instead of T-shirts). {Flash.}
This is good music, and I love the fact that it's licensed under CC.

Shout out to "the Jakes" for the great site! It reminds me of a cross between Netflix and (the former) MP3.com -- fun!
They also obsequiously relaunched h8r site PoopFace today as well.

They should probably not put 2 star artists on the front page.

Stars seem to be calculated on the fly. They put it on the front page and then people modded it down.

Holy shit, this totally reminds me of why I like the internet so much. MUSIC. I've actually bought stuff from Threadless, so maybe I'll like something at this site enough to support an up-and-coming artist.
Nice find.
Also: let's start a Metafilter SUPERGROUP and get it on this site! Like along the lines of Band-Aid except instead of saving Africa from famine we'd be saving the blue from new threads about how George W. Bush gets hand jobs from Jesus Christ.

Arrgh! And I've just been putting the finishing touches on a song entitled 15 Megabytes of Fame! Looks like a good site regardless...
