Plus that bit when Mary's hiding in the hydrangea. That's priceless. I love that movie. Hee-Haw!

The original crucifix scene in the Exorcist, where the possessed she-monster defiles herself. The original script had a bunny rabbit.

Friedkin was a stickler for realism, so after several takes they had to stop and switch to something metallic. People were starting to puke. Maybe it's in the DVD special edition?

Fantastic. Alas, this leaves out my favourite Christmas scene, when Jimmy Stewart goes apeshit and yells at the kids, ending with yelling at Zuzu about her horrible piano playing. Zuzu turns to the camera, tears in her eyes, and wails "Oh Daddy". It's then we know that he's broken. Such despair.

I think as far as the same-ish feeling, yeah, I think so as well. I mean you can only do so much with Chipmunk-sounding bunnies and 30 seconds.

Capra's movie is good-natured and a long-term favourite. But this imaginative, creative version has too much scowling. Perhaps I am missing out on who the bunnies are.

this one didn't amuse me as much as the other reenactments, but the bonus "dance by the light of the moon" scene makes up for it.

It's my favorite movie, but there's a lot of funny moments with Bad George. Like just before he yells at the kids, when he gets on the phone and tells the teacher's husband "Oh, this is Mister Welch, is it? I'll tell you what I really think of your wife!"

Love the bunnies. But the "Buffalo Girl" scene so should have been squeezed in. It's the most important scene in the movie.
