How come they're not getting any of the good stuff -- you know, barbequed ribs -- St. Louis style and baby back? Not all fat is equal!!! I'll take a fat pig any day over the junk they're eating.

Isn't that a good way to end up with Diabetes?
Not all cases of diabetes are related to being overweight (no matter how you define it) just as not all cases of being overweight are related to having diabetes.

Diabetes is linked to excessive sugar intake, which is how it's linked to obesity. They made a special point on the site of stating that they're going to try to avoid sugar-heavy foods. No boxes of chocolate bars for the two to gain on.

rapid *anything*--loss or gain--is hard on the heart.
someone told me that karen carpenter died as a result of a rapid weight gain as she was recovering from anorexia. her heart was in a weakened state already, and the gain was too much for it.
