Huh. I wonder why Reuters took so long to carry this story. I saw it in the NYTimes almost two weeks ago. (Their story is now expired for web viewing.)

I would sacrifice something precious to walk those rooms as well, but tours will be highly unlikely. I can't see the Italian gov't letting the unwashed masses tromp through the place with their flashing cameras and CO2 emissions.
