WE WANT YOUR HEART!

Everybody At the Beach! (.mov, slightly NSFW) - Need New Body's music has been described as psychedelic, unnerving, and all-out spastic. But really, what's not to love about a band with lyrics like "Pen pen pen! Where's my pen?!"
"I'm angry at the world, for having a sense of humour."

When you try to snark at someone, spell their username correctly. No one feels bad when a mentally handicapped person misattributes quotes to them. Just embarassed for the addled person.
But I'm sorry that you take exception to my disdain for half-sequiturs muttered over repetitive noise.

I saw NNB play at a record store in Greensboro, NC, and they are a ton of fun and put on a really good show.

I've seen them perform several times and they've been consistently good. Regardless of what some might say, if a band can get a sleepy audience laughing and dancing then they must be doing something right. Thanks for pointing out the video, buriednexttoyou. It was enjoyable to see.

Reminds me a little of Fishbone, NRBQ and Mr. Bungle, in uneven proportions. And a little too much Casio in the intro to "Show me your heart" as Mayor Quimby points out.

As someone with no talent at writing music or lyrics, this gives me great hope and the courage to start my own rock band.

Wow. Stupid? Yes. Meaningless? Yes. Juvenile? Yes. Imaginative? YES. FUN? YES! I love it in all of its crappiness.
Not like I could acutally jam out to it BUT it still rocks.

P.S. Reminds me of when I first listened to DEVO in the 5th grade.

The "My Pen" lyrics are quite reminiscent of a Kids in the Hall sketch

I liked bablicon live much better than their recordings. I bought need new body because of bablicon.
Like most things on pickled egg (includes mp3s), it has it's place. Just not sure which dimension that is in.
Nice trying to find out.
Oh, and your favourite band sucks.
