I don't even know why I bother to come in to work on Fridays.

Friday MeFi: Many of y'all are familiar with Don Hertzfeldt's animated shorts, but have you seen his comic strip?
(If you like Cordell Barker or Roman Dirge, you'll probably find this amusing...)
this one reminds me of the current whitehouse--thanks speck!

These are fantastic. I especially liked bobby neurotic buys lip balm.
These also sorta remind me of Happy Noodle Boy.

splatta, Happy Noodle Boy, definitely! Shoot, I should have linked to JTHM instead of Roman Dirge.

Don's new films is completed and coming out soon. Check out this year's tour of the animation show to see it. I caught the animation show when it happened two years ago, and it was a great, great animation festival - easily on par with Spike and Mike's classic animation, if not better. The lineup this year looks great, too.

He's a sick bastard, but a creative one. Some of my friends thought I was decidedly weird when I showed them 'Rejected' and laughed wholeheartedly at it.

I absolutely loved "Rejected" (I AM THE QUEEN OF FRANCE!).
These comics were great... especially enjoyed Bobby Neurotic. Thanks!

Thanks!
Most of "Rejected" has made its way into the parlance of my social group ("I'm a consumer whore!" "And how!"), so it was great to see these.

Holy shit, thank you so much...I have not laughed this hard in a while. Unfortunately, I'm at work, so I'm hoping nobody comes by to see what's so funny.
