Amazon as used book store?

Amazon as used book store? When did this happen -- you can sell your books (or other items), through amazon. Has anyone tried this? Where do the things show up?
I'm not sure when this started but it seems to be different than both auctions and ZShops . They take a cut when it sells, but give you a shipping credit and the listing is free.

It's similar to half.com - in fact, eBay (who owns half.com) recently announced a similar marketplace thing they will be creating with buy.com. amazon marketplace items appear in zShops, so there is some connection there. (disclosure: amzn gives me money every few weeks.)

First of all, based on that link I'm not clear what you are talking about.
Why not go to a better source for used books? http://www.powells.com
