The rights to Pokey the Penguin(archive)-the entire body of work, characters, likenesses, etc.- are for sale on eBay. Is this the end of an infrequently updated and incoherent era that spanned nearly seven years?
I went all the way up to $77.43 and was still outbid. Fuck. If I pretend I am a destitute hotchikk, can I get some donationlove from you guys so I can own Pokester and Mr. Nutty? Please?

Good riddance to bad rubbish. I hope someone pulverizes it and puts it in some pasta sauce.

Man, he's kind of stupid to be selling the rights to this stuff so early, or at all. It's like giving away the publishing rights to the Shaggs. Here's hoping he gets a good price.

on the main pokey the penguin page, there used to be a link to this amazing essay containing in depth analysis of various pokey the penguin strips. the essay was interesting and made me see some of the strips in a new light. it was supposedly by some renowned art critic, though that was probably made-up. does anyone have a link to the essay?

History has already seen a lame pokey character as Gumby's horse. Now there are two where there should be one. Long live Pokey the horse!
