Who needs a MeTa? Here's how you handle a wacko, blatant self-link (double, even) post. MoFites continued posting to it even after it became one of the deleted threads resulting in what more than one person called: "best. thread. ever."

This post was deleted for the following reason: post this to metatalk, yo!

WHOOOSH

*looks up*

I don't get it. Shouldn't this go to MeTa as in metafilter-related (but not really)? Or is that the joke? I'm lost.

I wound up on the West Coast of Canada standing in a parking lot with what were suppose to be Chinese Nationals being photographed by the R.C.M.P. as part of a smear campaign. The worst part of all of this is Gerry Duffett almost died, that's me

What?

Gerry Duffett needs help from a mental health professional. His post is weird and dumb for about sixteen different reasons.

Every time I think that Metafilter sucks, I glance at Monkeyfilter, and I feel better about this place.

It's an excercise in creative anarchism. I don't get most of it, but it looks like it was fun.

I laughed when I saw his userpage. What a maroon.

Also - I like that MF has a deleted posts category.

The New England Sports Network shows Pawtucket games when the Boston Red Sox have the day off. I occasionally try to watch it, but I always end up turning it off because the level of play is so lacking.

1. Don't tell anybody you know that, somebody might try to kill you.
2. Don't say that you weren't warned.

*waves at monkeys*

This Gerry Duffett has posted the same exact letter in...oh...about 18 million forums. He's really very determined, isn't he?
