Baron Mango - Functional Art

Big smooch, peacay - I love this post. His stuff is fabulous. Love his futuristic vehicles, but these vintage vehicles are way cool, too. Since it is unlikely I will get a car, I will aspire to one of these sleek lamps.
And then much to my delight, he links to this fabulous Funky Junk Farms site - and it has some stunning vintage trailers. These vintage teardrops are another thing I love.
He appears cut from the same cloth as Lawrence Northey and Clayton Bailey, both discussed in this prior mefi thread - which also didn't get many comments. Well, we aficionados may be few - but eh, that makes us discerning ;-)

Thanks madamjujujive...I had at first baulked at posting it but I'm getting over that sense that 'deep conversation' is a measure of a link's quality. I like LOTS of stuff.
Funny you link the vintage trailers -- I was at a site yesterday (I think I found it via Recordbrother) that had a HUGE historical archive of trailers. I didn't keep the link and just got dizzy when I tried checking the day's browser history. Heh.
I LOVED Northey's work - particularly this - he and Baron Mango are certainly cut from the same cloth. At present, owning the link to the pictures is as close as I'm going to come to owning a piece. *sigh* but thank the lOrd for the internet!
