Actually, the Nigerian formal dress (as in Goedel's link) dominates my conception of African clothing; other than that, when I think of African clothing, I think of jeans and t-shirts, print dresses, blue and white school uniforms, etc.

Nice pictures. I like the geometric graphics on some of the fabrics.

I've seen some traditional Masai clothing in news stories about the people, and the rich red, often checked cloth they wear is visually appealing too.
