A staple of my highschool ('71-'75) years. The October 1974 issue being a particular favorite.

Does anyone know where one could find the text of "The Love Song of J. Edgar Hoover" from the August '72 issue? It's one of my favorite poetry parodies.

I have most of the '76-79 issues, passed down to me by my uncle who had a subscription.

Anyone know a place I can get full issues online? Like maybe Bittorrent or something? There's a lot of early '70s stuff I'd love to read, and not all of it is in the "Best Of" collections.

I have many fond memories of Miss October 1974 as well.

I had cherished copies of the Gentlemen's Bathroom Companion (Vol. I and II.) My brother and I had these memorized in college. Hell, they got us through college. A few years later, my wife lent them to a friend of hers...and they disappeared off the face of the earth. 15 years later I finally found them on eBay. I will never tell my wife where I hid them.

Thanks for the memories.

Faint of Butt, try emailing Mark -- he seems to dig getting inquiries like that. Or you could try searching NationalLampoon.com.

Mona Gorilla... and January '77 were classic. Had the feel of earlier George Lois Esquire covers.
