Great. I've been amazed and impressed with the work of the Times-Picayune these past two weeks. Their work will be remembered by American journalists as one of the greatest feats of reportage ever seen.

I like the T-P, but when we were sitting on I-10 at Causeway that Wednesday night, two wild-eyed T-P reporters came by burbling that another levee had broken and we might be under water within the hour. This was received with They hopped back in their car and tooled off, leaving us all a little more unsettled.

Beside the horrific tales coming out of New Orleans, there are tales of heroism and people rising to the occasion in the face of adversity. Thanks for posting this; it was uplifting to read.

I probably posted these links a bit too early. The CJR will be running one more article on the T-P tomorrow.
