Generation of Zombies : A literary fusion of gonzo journalism and beatnik prose, Generation of Zombies is a novel written by two former computer science students/computer hackers attending Polytechnic University in the winter of 2004. It details their outrageous experiences at the New York based college and is inspired by the likes of dead writers such as Hunter S. Thompson, Philip K. Dick, Franz Kafka, Jack Kerouac, and William S. Burroughs.

At least they were polite enough to provide a link to their website's stats so that we can see what kind of traffic a $5 membership fee will buy you.

You know, when I read that description, I thought it sounded ridiculous, but in a kind of good way. After having trudged through a few "pages" of this "novel," I realize that it is ridiculous -- but in a bad way. A very, painfully bad way.
Boo this post. And boo self-links.

That's some of the crappiest "literary fusion" I've read in a while. Thumbs down.

Here's a review for you to add to the site: "Probably the worst arrangement of the English lexicon ever to be polarized in a liquid crystal display. Without a doubt the best excuse to use a pseudonym that ever required the combined intellect of two scab-eaters to conceive. This work is to a novel what static cling is to lightning."

The description of the novel misuses the word "entail". I went no further.

Also, the presence of the dreaded IDEAS COMMUNICATED THROUGH DIFFERENT TYPEFACES and the TRANSCRIPTS OF CHATS MEANT TO BE WITTY means your manuscript doesn't just get rejected, it gets burned and shat on and then mailed back by the slow boat for proper aging before arrival.
