Telly looks at Birmingham [Realplayer] One of TV's most famous detectives and Hollywood actors, Telly Savalas, takes a look at England's second city - part of the Baim Collection
As a Brummie, born a year before this film was made, that was a pretty incredible film.

In the full version of the Birmingham film, Telly looks down from a vantage point on an really ugly roof scape and comments
"When I saw this view, it almost took my breath away"
Who said Americans can't do irony !
It turns out Kojak also looked at Aberdeen as well as Brum and Portmouth. I would love to see that

I'd love a DVD collection of the films.

Gold. And my Brummie parents are going to love it. Nan too - a Welsh woman who lived in Birmingham for 40 years and hated the place with a grand passion. It'll confirm her belief that the web is 'complicated telly' as well.
