“The Puberty Pals.” [Flash, NSFW] This teaser animation for the “upcoming” feature film, Puberty: The Movie was produced by The B-Squad and The Toilet, who brought you “Leave it to Bush,” and voiced by Amy Sedaris, of Strangers With Candy.
Wow.

And... if Amy Sedaris voiced "Burt", then she is much more impressive than I previously realized.

Quite funny. Quite NSFW. I had something similar going a few years back with a cartoon called "The Poon Pals," but it never really got far.

I don't know how Bush #3 is not the best by far (as seen in other threads) tho contrasting with Cosby is brilliant.

I sent the link to all my pals this last week; only one was offended by the pooping at the end. The voice is the best part.

Man, sometimes I don't get you people. Utterly unfunny - mostly it scarcely qualifies as even trying to be funny and failing. Is the joke the utterly generic, slight "educational film" type script? The fact that the characters are personified genitalia (wow, so fresh)? Maybe the subtle political overtones, like the dad with a scimitar slashing off his brown-skinned son's penis, with all those minaret domes and such in the background? And then the penis comes back and he all like has the American flag theme, and a gun? That's clever stuff.

Reminds me to wonder if I'll ever get to see John K's What Pee Boners Are For.

it's parody, nano, and the nationalist and anti-foreigner things are part and parcel of the educational form, especially in older films like that.

What amberglow said.
Having only seen this one and a short video clip about reading the rules to online forums, I think there's definitely potential in the faux educational video genre. Christopher Guest, where are you?

Oh, I understand all that amberglow - I just didn't find it well executed or amusing. I found it hamhanded, unsubtle and obtuse. But there no accounting for tastes. A fact I sometimes feel the yen to vent about despite my better judgement.

i think that's part of it too--they were always hamhanded and unsubtle in real life too.
