Ritual Adornment of a communal habitat. Light and sound combine to impress other nearby members of the species. The counterpoint to a summer of tending carefully controlled foliage.
Dude, don't you ebaum's world is like, Satan?

Christ, leave the site politics out of it and let users decide whether to click through. Go find something else to snark up.

This was posted already. I wouldn't, however, feel too bad about the dupe, because the filename was changed, the hosting site was changed, and the other description doesn't sound even vaguely like Christmas lights. I wouldn't have caught it either, if I hadn't seen (and admired) the video the first time. And your writeup is better. But it's still a dupe. Sorry. :(

Oops!! I saved my original comment... was trying to post it last night because the site was crashing. Didn't realize it got through. Just stuck it on again this morning.
That's kinda funny... a dupe post about a dupe post. My humblest apologies.

This has, in fact, been posted twice already. Still cool, though.

A boy lying on skins behind our back is tuning the knobs of a small transistor radio...
I carefully laid my jacket on the the chair, nearest the door and nervously checked the pocket to see that the tape recorder was still running.
The ringing excitement of eavesdropping hummed though my delicate body. A great armoured mass of darkness fish was approaching.
I had the girl, the records, and the jeweled knife, but he had the time machine.
