Friday Finger Frenzy How fast can you type the alphabet? 9.083 seconds here...
The quickest time on the high score page is 1.001 seconds. I suspect yet another computer nerd has figured out a way to drain the fun out of yet another game. Congrats Poindexter!

O.K. So I watched a couple videos from the gallery of people typing it in about 1.5 seconds, so I must say that I now believe it to be possible, but I stand by my original thought that the www is filled with cheating killjoys!
...or maybe I'm just jealous that I don't possess the manual dexterity to beat 5 seconds!
I'll just go back to looking for the "Any" key.

thats suprisingly difficult...
On a regular basis I dont often type the entire alphabet - typically it seems to be: lol, ul, np (along with team speak and reload in counterstrike)
The downside is: when in msn I keep hitting "y" or "u" before i type as though it where a team or general message in counterstrike :-s

3.125. It takes longer to "say" the alphabet in one's head than to actually give up control to the fingers and let them do all the thinking.

Just noticed the alphabet is really bad on a standard qwerty keyboard. That is, the ideal typing behavior alternates between hands every other letter. That's how you can achieve the highest speeds. On qwerty, 'abcdefg' is all left handed, followed by 'hijklmnop' on the right. Particulary, 'cde' is three in a row with the middle finger on the left hand, and 'mn' on the right hand seems to trip me up pretty frequently. I'd definitely like to hear if dvorak users had better luck.
BTW, my best is now 2.37, just shy of Wolfdog!!

Exactly. I did 5.309 (man that beeping is annoying), but this test is useless to someone who really types actual words all the time. Wait a minute. Useless pages on the Internet?

Well, looks like dvorak doesn't help me out very much here. I got 5ish on my first try with QWERTY and I can't seem to get much below 8ish with dvorak. But that could be because I don't tend to use a whole lot of dvorak nowadays.
