It's interesting how very unstoked some people look in those crowd shots. In NY, the woman holding the light. In Sydney, the woman in the green dress.

Look at the Minneapolis one. There's 25-20 people on the bridge at most --- And it was even warm last night.

the one in tokyo is beautiful, haunting. i looked for my friends in the london one but they are unseen... aspen is surprisingly celebratory! this is cool, thanks!

It's very easy to look non-stoked in Times Square.
Especially if you're a New Yorker. But that would never happen, because real New Yorkers know better than to go to Times Square. Just like real Londoners wouldn't be seen dead in Piccadilly Circus.

I was directly underneath the Minneapolis fireworks, in St. Anthony Main, watching a midnight showing of Once Upon a Girl.
