Networks part 2

Visualising Networks is fun. So are Monkey Networks (ppt). Dolphin Networks (pdf). Ant networks can aide network design.
Does the Brain Work Like the Internet? Can the Internet Think? The Social Superorganism and its Global Brain? Webog Inequality. A City Is Not a Tree. The I Ching, a network of 384 pathways. The Whole, the Parts, and the Holes. Heterarchy, the secret of Japan, Inc.? Sense/non-sense;hierarchy/heterarchy... Heterachy and Heirarchy: Two Complimenatary categorises of description (pdf). Summary: "Our most significant problems cannot be solved at the same level of thinking at which we produced them." (attributed to Einstein)
I haven't perused the links yet but the quote from Einstein reminds me of a comp sci quote that said something to the effect that debugging is at least twice as hard as coding so if you write the cleverest code you can then you are not smart enough to debug it.

I know Einstein said god doesn't play dice....but he/she eats microwaved burritos? Personally, I'd rather roll the dice.

Seems to have gone down like a wet fart in a board meeting.
Sorry if the FPP is a bit muddy reading, but please someone take a look at A City Is Not a Tree and the pdf on Heterarcy and Heirarchy, if nothing else, both are top notch.
Also thought the bemusing sublink on Meta-being(s) should be mentioned.
