The art of elevator riding as seen in "Elevator World."
This post was deleted for the following reason: please please don't do this self-linking thing
(Googling notwebutone brings up Mitchell Rose's Yahoo! profile.)

Geez! The movie is good. It would have been really, really easy to get someone to post the link.

I decided to ride an elevator once.
Yes.
But I didn't experience that spatial harmony they keep talking about, as I saw that the volume of the quadrangle was crammed full of people and decided to take the stairs instead.
Yes.

Y'got me. Sorry comrades. I thought the piece could stimulate some interesting MeFi discussion and I was curious to hear that. Mea culpa.

That was pretty fucking boring. I feel a lot less bad about saying that knowing it was a self-link.

Came off like some weird cult training video. Which was amusing... for 10 seconds.

I watched your Deere John video once, Mitchell Rose, and liked it. But now I can never watch your films with the same mind again, knowing that the producer exercised a densely cavalier disregard for the respect expected from members of this community.

Man - mea culpa doesn't really cut it.
I know there's not much more you can say, but every time this happens it degrades the integrity of the site a little bit.
Somewhere, some jerkoff media rep is going - "Wha? What is this 'self-link' thing? I can generate hits to my advertisers via this blue website thingy?"
Post it to metafilter projects. They'll even give you some positive feedback, maybe.

I saw Deere John a while back and liked it. Shame you're a stinky self-linker.
