"Awesome."

Kid Radd is a sprite comic. Wait, don't roll your eyes and start work on that snarky comment. It is, actually, good. It tells the light-hearted and philosophical tale of a self-aware video game sprite. Original art, and bits of animation. Read, watch, enjoy.
Of all the words to misspell! "derivative" not "derriative." Whatever, I'm going to sleep.

More interesting things happen later on. Still not hilarious, but some good ideas.

I agree with lemonfridge. I went through the first chapter and was not particularly impressed. I felt like I had seen all this before in RPG World, and better. Just as I was starting to get bored though, I got into chapter 2 and it got better. Looking through the list of chapters yet to go, I think this comic has some potential.
Point being: Thanks for the link, TwelveTwo.
-Oh, and on a side note: Does anybody else find it frustrating that the "next" button on the title page of every comic isn't in line with the "next" button on the rest of the panels?

Yeah, that is frustrating. Actually, having a title page to click past for each "episode" is frustrating in and of itself. I'd like it better if the layout of the whole thing were more of a standard Web comic format rather than having to click to see each panel. Still, I'm really enjoying the storyline. Again, thanks.

Ah, saw this one a few years ago and loved it. The format is pretty bizarre but it works, and to quite good effect later one (with musical cues, animation and such). Not the most hilarious comic and the early stuff has been done elsewhere, but as it continues it gets some interesting storyline and concepts.

Yeah, it's not particularly funny, and the begining part (the kid rad game) is pretty boring
After that, it gets intresting.

Just read it start to finish. Gets pretty heavy-handed and serious towards the end but overall I'm quite glad I stuck with it.

Wow. I just sat down and read through the lot. When it started out I thought 'Man, this is lame.' Then it got better. By the end I was totally hooked. Awesome!

Based on everyone's comments, I decided to skip a little and start with chapter 2. Great comic! I'm reading the Earthbound parody and laughing out loud.

It's a shame that it starts out so lousy, because it gets quite good later on, especially the last half. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting, TwelveTwo.

Ha ha! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found the whole Mofo sequence highly amusing. I got a bit worried when it mentioned a super-powerful boss that can only be beaten with the little-used power 'meditate' and I immediately thought 'Hey, that's Mother 2!'
