Jesus The Pug

I thought my pugs were awesome, but that was back before I found out about Jesus. No, not our lord & savior, silly, the REAL Jesus, Jesus the Pug. Don’t tell me you’ve never heard of him? He’s been in a number of famous events over the years.
egads I love me some pugs...

I only roll with guild groups, now. PUGs are more trouble than they're worth.

That I do get it terrifies me to the core of my being.

I've always preferred to solo, even when I was in a guild.
Pugdogs? That can nap while they're on fire? Huh.

Pugs are mutant abominations. All these miniature pedigrees.. the living purses that rich women breed to carry around on excursions shopping and such... are crimes against nature, inbred to the point of insanity. Many pugs require expensive surgical procedures just to expand their nostrils enough so they can breathe.... How cruel to put an animal with the brain of a predator into the body of a rat.

You do have a point, bukharin, both of my pugs required rhinoplasty to breath more easily. Well, actually, for the boy it was his breathing, the girl pug was just embarassed of her Jewish heritage and wanted a more waspy nose like the other kids in her school.

I love pugs, but some of these horrified me somehow.
Also, Johnson, I hope you plan on giving the female pug a Bark Mitzvah, even if she is a bit embarassed of her Jewish heritage.

You've never owned a pug, have you? Then again, maybe you have.
Funny thing about pugs is the more they deviate from the breed standard of shmushed and wrinkled face, the fewer breathing problems they have.
Won't somebody think about the pugs?

Actually, as one of the oldest known breeds, pugs have a quite large and robust gene pool and do not suffer from inbreeding depression.
Many pugs require expensive surgical procedures just to expand their nostrils enough so they can breathe....
This is not true.
How cruel to put an animal with the brain of a predator into the body of a rat.
Dogs, you should realise, have had their predatory instincts bred out of them thousands of years and generations ago. They are now inseperable from their human hosts. They are not "natural" at all; but humankind's most long-lived and magnificent genetic experiment.

I know next to nothing about pugs but I do know that early on this Saturday a.m., these pictures made me smile.
Thanks. I needed that.

i was quite impressed at the quality of the Photoshopping. i mean, you can tell that there was work done, but it's subtle. Something that is difficult to accomplish.
And suck it, haters. Pugs rule.
[/does not own pugs]
[/would gladly trade a willful Cattle Dog and a hyperactive Rat terrier for said pug.]

Unfortunatly, not all of them have lost their predatory instincts. Border collies, for one, use their instincts in their job of herding sheep. Other "bully" breeds are prized for their intimidating prescense-such as rottweilers, mastiffs, and the all-too-common pitbull.
