Unembedded, stunning images from independent photographers working in Iraq.
Powerful. Some images NSFW, though.

Jesus H. Christ. Thanks for the outstanding link. The American people should have these pics scrolling across their TV screens each morning as they eat their cheerios. That would be the end of Bush and his endless parade of lies. The American "media" is damn near worthless.

This is clearly propaganda. There's not a single photo of a school being painted.

I don't understand this obsession people have with re-inventing the slideshow, again and again and again and each time with a different interface.

The resizing bugs me, also, but the fact that I can't link somebody to a specific photo bugs me more.

Yup. Just post the pics without all the baloney. The slide show was a pain. Artistes. Yikes.

Haunting is the right word. Wow.
Yeah, the window resize thing sucks, and the Flash interface doesn't let you link directly to photos, but it's worth dealing with to see what's presented.

Pretty amazing pictures but hard to look at more than a few at a time. But there should be at least one on the front page of every paper every day. This is what our tax dollars (and debt) are paying for: blood and brains and rubble and chaos in the streets. We shouldn't forget that there are actual real people paying the price for our stupidity.
You can disable the resize in Firefox (Preferences -> Content ->Javascript -> Advanced)

Thanks for posting this. Can't find many of his photos, but here's another "unembedded" reporter---had a chance to have dinner with him before he want back to Iraq.
