Hot For Teacher

There's a USA National Bikini Team? Time was you had to actually have sex with a student before you got in trouble. Now it seems, you don't even have to go that far! After all that, let's hope the good ole U.S. of A. can beat the Swedes

First the Oozinator thread, then this. I'm sensing a common theme here.

The ruling may not matter. Chevillar said she's quitting her teaching job but plans to continue modeling.

Well, duh. With publicity like this, who needs a 9 to 5?

Debra Lafave is hawt.

Maybe both being a teacher and having sex with a boy are similar perveted forms of motherhood for these women.

holy shit.... i wish i had gone to school in florida! i'd gladly be molested by her any day.
posted by Doorstop at 1:42 PM on May 12, 2006

Whats with all the vaguely french names: Chevillar, LeTourneau, LaFave. I sense an under the radar smear campaign from the same folks that brought us freedom fries. Or maybe the french genes predispose one towards statutory rape (or in Chevillar's case, poor modelling career moves). Hang on... I'm an 1/8th french.... better watch out....

I thought the same thing keswick. Enterprise High Hornets RULE! [but the teachers didn't look like that]
posted by birdherder at 1:50 PM on May 12, 2006

whoops, just realized lafave and letourneau were both their married names... so I guess it's more a correlation between being interested in 13 year old boys and being interested in unsatisfying frenchmen....
posted by jrb223 at 1:51 PM on May 12, 2006

it's a good thing there aren't any beaches in florida ... can you imagine the moral corruption that would be possible if there were? ... teachers, beaches, bikinis and cameras

it's a damn good thing a town like west palm beach doesn't ...

oh oh

Oddly enough, I can't find anything on Fark about the Oozinator. They're all over this though...yesterday.

I saw a Girls Gone Wild once where the girl said she was a teacher.

Teachers are people too, they have sex, etc. (Just shouldn't do it with their students, of coruse)

Doorstop, here's the arrest report from The Smoking Gun. The quote from the student involved: "It was awesome."

It's interesting how you don't link to any male child molesters.
posted by Auguris at 2:23 PM on May 12, 2006

Auguris: that's because male child molesters are monstrous sexual predators who should be castrated by wild dogs. Debra LaFave and Mary Kay Letourneau, on the other hand, are every heterosexual 14 year old boy's wet dream, literally. Is that a double standard, you bet! Guess what, there are differences between the sexes. It's crazy but true.

posted by adamrice at 4:22 PM on May 12, 2006

Me & my monkey, my first post was a bit hyperbolic. What I should have said is that people like LeFave and Letourneau are glaring counterpoints to the dogma that all sexual relationships between and adult and young adolescent are equally predatory. To suggest that a teenager fucking his hot twentysomething teacher in the back of her SUV is the same kind of thing as an adult man raping a prepubescent girl is not only insane, it cheapens the horror of true child sexual abuse.

As a male, does effing your hot female teacher at 13 yrs old have any sort of long-term negative effects on you? (besides inflating your ego?)

Also, they say that girls (sorry, young women) mature sooner/faster than guys, so what's up with the age of consent not reflecting that bit of lore?
posted by shoepal at 4:54 PM on May 12, 2006

As a male, effing my hot female teacher at 13 years old would have done WONDERS for my self-esteem. Long term negative effects? Well, if we got caught the media glare would be a serious negative.

The sex? As the "victim" in the Debra Lafave case said it would have been awesome.
posted by Justinian at 5:08 PM on May 12, 2006

Awesome and very, very, very short, in all likelyhood.

Almost every book by John Irving has a theme of an adolescent boy engaging in a relationship with an older woman. He has admitted that this comes out of his own life experience. In an interview with Jon Steward he said "The negative effect of having your first sexual experience with an older woman is that no other sex will ever be that good again" (I am paraphrasing). So there you go. :)

These sorts of things bring out the double gender standards of society:

Imagine if she was a he, boinking his female students and posting photos of himself wearing a bikini.

That smoking gun link proves again that cops are illiterates, I think. The all-caps writing is annoying, although I imagine that might be policy or something, but come on, "EYE-POD" (repeatedly), "SMOOTHY" (repeatedly), "HIGH/BYE RELATIONSHIP", etc. Morans.

What, no obligatory "hot for teacher" joke?

Anyway. I remember Janine Lindemueller, the pornstar, talking about how she wanted to be a teacher when she got out of the sex industry.

Yeah, that's gonna happen.
