I love Kentucky Fried Movie! But I think A Fistful of Yen takes the cake for the best cut off that film...

That's not even the best part of the movie. A Fistful of Yen is better, imo.

Kentucky Fried Movie is great, but in all honesty, I think KFM-clone UHF surpassed it in the skit department.

There's a torrent up at torrentspy that should be pretty well seeded, if you're so inclined. Of course, you could just rent it. I have a thing for downloading movies.

Ah... fond memories! This is one of those early films that made me realize I loved big ol' boobies... :) There's more than a few such clips in that movie, including the final "skit" involving ZAZ as news reporters watching people through their TV. That said, it's almost certainly the worst of the ZAZ films (Airplane, Top Secret, Police Squad, etc). Also, I do believe that the Uschi Digart shower scene clips are ripped right from a Russ Meyer film (with squeaky balloon noises dubbed in the ZAZ crew, of course).

So you know, "ZAZ" stands for David Zucker, Jim Abrams and Jerry Zucker. They're still making movies today, although the quality has gone downhill. My favorite bit from Kentucky Fried Movie, by the way, has to be That's Armageddon!

There used to be a whole genre of boobie flicks in the 80's. I think that Porky's and Bachelor Party (with Tom Hanks!) were among the best.
Now we have plenty of violence, but very few obnoxious movies with gratuitous violence.
Man, I miss the 80's.

It's amazing how if you make enough jokes, someone, somewhere going to find some of it humourous. It's like throwing poo at a fan and seeing if you get hit. Not necessarily the best way to make a comedy, however.

It's me or KFM takes some ideas from Monty Python's Flying Circus? If it's not me, many sketches were already old in the '77. Now that every part of it it's been scavenged by directors of bad movies it's even worse.
Anyway A fistful of Yen it's quite cool. The Mefites that thinks otherwise should be sent to Detroit (Noooooo!)
(and yes, I've seen it today)
