Meh, I've seen plenty of things from mefi appear on the popbitch message boards. It's a two way street.

Our daughter (2.5 years old) loves the book. As soon as she saw one of the pdf pictures on the screen, she said, "Owen and Mayzee!"

It says that the pair will be seperated soon, that makes me sad.

I don't want to frighten Mzee, so keep it down, but... it says here that "[t]he penis of the hippopotamus... can be several feet in length" -- I hope Owen's introduction to Cleo isn't delayed too long.

Vindaloo, where does it say that they will be separated? I can't find it.

Owen is going to be introduced to an older female (Cleo) this month. If Owen and Cleo and Mzee all get along, then fine, but if Cleo and Mzee don't hit it off, I suppose one option would be to part Owen and Mzee rather than mess up Owen and Cleo's chances of mating (or risk Cleo stomping Mzee?).
