The look on his face is priceless....

"Currently, there are 9,000 banks in
the United States," he said, "But that
number is expected to fall to half that

I need to see that booklet; I hope "ragpicking" at thrift stores is in there. You can get some incredible deals -- would you believe $2.99 for a navy gabardine blazer that had absolutely nothing wrong with it? -- and usually those places are run by and for charities, so it's not like you're subsiziding the Man, either.

So let me get this straight. What you've given us here is not just a single link newsfilter post... it's an 85 word single link newsfilter post.

Oh, I guess I could have posted, something from boing boing, or splodinvark's del.icio.us or dig or...

Having just peeled my aging body out of the bed, minus coffee in bleary eyed stupor, to go to my secound job in our YoYo Bush economy, I posted what I thought a community would discuss. However, if It is not, flag away or discuss, that is entirely your prerogative Mr. Second Account For Making Jokey Comments.

One can also get a free meal at the local soup kitchen, if one gets there early enough. I'm surprised they missed that. You can save yourself a lot of money, you know.
