I had some of these, I believe with my C64. I couldn't tell if it was the disks or the disk drive that drove me mad at the time (it was the drive, as it turns out).

I've never seen any of this promo material before.

Lovely. And great story about how it was chosen.

I never saw that marketing book but I dig the look - great execution whoever came up with that. Especially the elelphant in a spacesuit.

Great execttion, btt bad editting: the book gives the same ASCII code for both 'T" and "U".

You missed this one.

Ah, floppies. I remember using a 'notching tool' (a glorified paper punch) to put a write protect notch on single sided floppies so you could flip them over and use the other side.

I still have some EMS posters and a few of the floppies themselves.

The best disk sleeve had to be the ones from Beagle Brothers though.

Computers used to be much more fun...
