Curious about what a college class in Anatomy and Physiology is like? Here's Berkeley's version on Google Video, complete with adorable professor with a great collection of colorful scarfs.

Gotta love the cursive handwriting--and the Greek and Latin.

Oh, you mean Hello Kitty cute. Still . . . you can't create that sort of cuteness with a trillion dollars either, at least if you're hoping for the Pentagon to come up the equivalent of HK (not Kissinger).

Five minutes in she fully pulls a brain out of a floral print hatbox. I mean come on!
my favorite part, accentuated by wgp's magnificent thought experiment, was her insinuation that they should be getting the information presented in 1st or 2nd grade.

I've been watching these videos. I may have stayed in school if my professors had been half this interesting (and I had been motivated... let's be honest ;)

The core engineering classes are like this, too. If you think this lady is something, check out Dan Garcia's treatment of CS 61C sometime.

I see Google Video wasted no time in YouTube-ing its layout.
I don't think anything could get me interested in biology, though. One of the few subjects I've ever outright failed (together with woodwork/metalwork).

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they haven't changed the layout at all.

I agree with reklaw: it looks all newly You-Tubed to me.
Still doesn't work in Safari, though.

I don't see anything different, and it's working just fine in Safari.
They are probably testing different layouts to small subsets of people – they do that occasionally with the main search pages.

bob: Seems like you sometimes need to click 'try our new page layout' (yellow box, upper right) to see it.

Now I'm really confused because I don't see the 'try out new page layout'. I feel like I'm missing out here.

Very high traffic sites tend to roll out updates slowly, so that they can make sure everything's operating and scaling properly. It makes sense that only some people would be seeing it yet.

This is good, I see they also have Physics for Future Presidents
Physicist Richard Muller on the future of energy/oil “I never begin with a concept, I always begin with a specific example. I’ll start my lecture by talking about something that’s obviously important that they clearly want to know about. I’ll then say a few things that surprise them, that they didn’t expect to be true. At this point.... I have their curiosity up.
