Google driving directions have gotten me lost at least 5 times. I don't use them anymore.

At least it wasn't a one-link post about putting salt in vaginas.

The international maps still leave a lot to be desired. I can find directions from LA to Athens, Greece, but not to Tijuana, Mexico?

I tried this route. I ended up in Paris unable to mime because my arms were so sore. Total waste of time.

Yes, and as I commented when my boss sent this to me three weeks ago, those directions are faulty. It tells you to take a short walk off Long Wharf, when it's supposed to be a long walk off a short pier.

Back in 1978, we had to walk across the ocean, uphill both ways!... Barefoot!... In the snow!

I thought the same thing.
Then I pre-empted him, by forwarding it to him. Ha!

Wow, how sad that this is not only a crappy post, but a double of a crappy post.
But let it be said that Google is too darn cute to hate.

Is this about emails we get from our parents? My Mom just sent me this (I had to edit out a shitload of spaces and emoticons, but for once no hamsters or dominionist tracts):
1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat.
(more than once but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)
3. Add 5
4. Multiply it by 50
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757...
If you haven't, add 1756.
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.
You should have a three digit number.
The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)
The next two numbers are
YOUR AGE ! ------ (Oh YES, it is!)
THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2007) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS

I love that one. How could it possibly know your age if you've given it your birthday and it knows the current year?

Well, I'll take everyone's word that this is a shitty post, and I'm just the exception to the rule, but: all those shitty forwarded emails? I just delete them without reading them. So I didn't know about this, and I found it amusing. So, thanks.
