That was fun. The long, painful loading time brought me back to the early days of the web, when everyone had crap modems and ISDN was the wave of the future.
Of course, I get about 310KB down on my DSL line, so I'm sure whatever it was would have turned out to be EPIC. That, or they have massive upstream capping going on to save bandwidth costs.
I'll never know.

Ok, I think it loaded something but all I see is a yellow dot. Presumably, it's supposed to be more than that. Maybe a shoe or something?

for those who don't have a metre-thick optic fibre connection direct to the Pentagon's webserver, i'll try to explain the site.
it's a big sports shoe of some brand or other (don't ask me, they all look the same) & it's made up of a bunch of tiny icons. if you hover over an icon, up pops a graphic & a link to somebodys blog or something, only you don't seem to be able to click through the links, even if you wanted to, which you wouldn't really, anyway, because there is no information helping you decide whether or not some guy's blog is worth wasting ten seconds visiting.

It's a kinda trainer, with some stripes on the side, which distinguish it from other trainers, which are identical, but with different stripes.
Of course, this yellow dot could also be a clever way of underhandedly marketing these.
