This post was deleted for the following reason: SLBOE. That's single link blog op-ed. If the point of your political MeFi post is basically "look at these assholes" then it's probably not a good MeFi post. Feel free to make more of an effort to link to something you found on the web that is likely to encourage decent discussion that most people may not have seen before -- jessamyn
and I'm sure you'll find it equally surprising that Mitt Romney is 100% in favor of torture.

Can lawyers be held criminally liable if they advise people that they can break the law, or if they incorrectly claim that what someone does is legal when it's not?
The reason I ask is because I'd really love to see that sleazy Yoo character thrown in jail.

I checked CNN yesterday to see if they were reporting Bush's latest constitutional move re: executive privilege, and they were instead reporting this drivel about how torture is now banned. That damned "liberal media" didn't even bother to read the text of the order...
Accurate headlines would be "Bush Politely Asks CIA Not To Torture People, Threatens Scolding."

Seriously. Dick Cheney has attached electrodes to my genitals, and he's zapping them at intervals of between twenty-six and forty-three seconds. It'd be less creepy if he wasn't smiling.
