This post was deleted for the following reason: Man, people are flagging the heck out of this thing. And what's with the ugly Swiss blog with the assist? Weird choice of links. -- cortex
I can't decide whether to flag this or not. It's a little bit interesting, but I do find it somewhat odd that you linked to these NBC photo galleries through some weird swiss blog that breaks my browser.

Barbara Walters definitely got something done to her face. Her eyes are more widely open and her smile points down at the sides.
Why she can't afford whiter dentures is beyond me.

Before and after having a celebrity career photo, looks like a rough life. I am now glad I never did quite make it.

I recall an interview with Charo wherein she was asked why she was in a relationship with Xavier Cugat (41 year age difference), and she claimed she admired his writing. "What has he written?" asked the host. "Checks!"

Whatever happened to Madonna's mole?
It was merged into Goldie Hawn's upper lip in a hostile takeover.

What googly said. Some of the pictures aren't even ten years old, while others are more than 20. InconsistencyFilter.

Bette Midler looks better now. Good for her.
Tom Selleck is a right-wing gun nut and (hopefully) a closet case, but damn, he's been my fantasy since I was a little gay boy and he still is completely do-worthy.
I look forward to Mary-Kate Olsen's "now" and "rotting corpse" pics. We won't see the difference.

It's really weird seeing celebrities that I've mostly known as old from when they were young. Sean Connery to me had always been an old(er) man until I started watching older James Bond movies.

It's funny. In almost every case I think the celebrities look better in the photos where they are older.
I had expected that with the male actors, but I was happy to discover that it held true for the female stars as well.
I must begetting old growing up.

You know, I wouldn't think to be saying this, but of the older woman I think Roseanne is the one who's aged the best. In her "Older" picture she looks grandmotherly and radiant.

A lot of the women look better now, actually. I think some of that has to do with going overkill on the makeup and glitz in their youth and then discovering that grace and elegance are a hell of a lot sexier.

I believe it ran away with Enrique Iglesias' mole... it's a beautiful May/December romance. They are currently happily traveling together on safari in Ghana where they spend time teaching the natives to cook Mexican delicacies.
As for Madonna not looking old, she exercises more than 99% of human beings her age. So that helps. Damn her.

Most of the women look better now but I attribute it to the fact that most of them didn't know how to apply make-up in the 80's and 90's. Some of the before photos looked as though their make-up was applied by circus clowns.
Kathleen Turner. What happened there? Time has been catastrophic in that case. My god.

Yup, and I fully agree with schroedinger: weirdly, I thought that Rosanne Barr did, too -- that is, she's always been dumpy and pugnacious, but now has a certain grace about her.
