Hypermiling involves serious effort to get as many miles out of as little gasoline as possible. In Europe, the best-known petrol-saving style is somewhat less hyper, and is being called ecodriving. In Sweden, it's now required for the driving license test.

And "ecodriving" is something I've been doing for ages, but I call it "being a skinflint".
