Soldiers & Civilian Brief President on Afghanistan

U.S. military and civilian personnel brief the President on Afghanistan. On Thursday, the President spoke with military and civilian personnel regarding their efforts to establish democratic rule in Afghanistan. Personnel relayed to the President various anecdotes and stories, including construction of schools and healthcare, and efforts to reduce the country's opium trade. Said the President, "I must say, I'm a little envious. If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed. It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks."

Man, WCityMike, the very least you could have done was to link to Bush Bravely Leads 3rd Infantry Into Battle.
