If your penis was a little man, this is what he would look like.

AGAIN...Metafilter trying to destroy any shred of sanity I cling to. This will haunt me in my dreams. Please, Metafilter Memes, what have I EVER DONE to harm you? I am peaceable enough - I make with the funny most times.

But now, I get The Laughing Dwarf. Do I DESERVE The Laughing Dwarf?

Please end my horror. Oh God, please.

This stays, but Keyboard Cat is gone?

This is great. This post stays, the other one goes. And the original stunty post about the gypsy musician stays for ever and anon! Oh mefi gods, you are a fickle bunch!

She's just taking the time to to think of a really clever deletion reason. That's what we call craftsmanship.

I think this stunt has a shred of validity.

A critical scene from one of the most bizarre, strange, and unique pieces of film ever made.

And whether you think it's a gimmick or not, I happen to find that laugh of Hombre's absolutely infectious and transcendent.

Burhanistan - Mods ain't gods, which explains for the slight lag in deletion...soon.

Second blasphemous statement I've seen today.

gcbv - And whether you think it's a gimmick or not, I happen to find that laugh of Hombre's absolutely infectious and transcendent.

Try doing it differently next time.

Keyboard Cat would have stayed on the FP if I had added a supplemental link and worded the post differently. But alas - "Click here now" type posts work only with gypsies. I think we can agree on that.

There should be a Keyboard Cat/Laughing Dwarf mashup somewhere...

...or, if there is a god, there willl be by the end of today!

It's lame to post it out of context, though.

Is it? Why? Because you think so?

I think it's perfectly valid to post it out of context, and with a minimal amount of explanation, leaving the person who finds it to have to figure out what it is, where it's from, and what the hell is going on.

Sorry I didn't lay it all out on a plate for you. One of the great things about stumbling upon something you haven't seen before and might be intrigued by is finding out, for yourself, what it is.

And I used the context of the meme to slip it in.

And Hombre is still laughing.

1) Keyboard Cat
2) Dwarf Laughing
3) Gypsy Duo

4) The Arrow Of Time

This reminds me of that time I ran over a 5-year-old with my bike and no one would listen to my story about working at Taco Bell for a summer.

This reminds me of that time I read several opinions of very critical humans who just didn't simply laugh with the little guy. Relax a bit, people.

Isn't there a TED talk that you should be watching?

This clip fails to show that he's laughing at a camel, which to me is what makes the scene awesome. Because he's right, camels are hilarious.
posted by Bookhouse at 8:01 AM on May 6, 2009

And, actually, hidden in the pattern of the fur on the camel's side, isn't there a picture of a man with a rather large penis?

The Keyboard cat is phat. I am not a fan of the little man. The gypsy pair have no flair.

This video's blocked at my office, so I've got to read between lines of this thread's comments and the tags to get any sense of what's going on. I expect that because of its stunt factor, it will be deleted by the time I get home to watch it. Would "more inside" and a link to "Even Dwarfs Started Small" have explained away the video's charm?

Or is the laughing dwarf Metafilter's equivalent of Rickrolling?

Hey kid, don't ya' know that smoking stunts your growth?

Oh, that's you, one post up in gcbv's linked video, laughing hysterical years later as an adult.
