I like the description in this one: "..and what looks like pizza". Looks like pizza, eh? Well, if they say so.

What bugs me isn't the food, it's that most US school cafeterias have done away with dishes and made all the plates, trays & utensils disposable. It's can't be that much more expensive to hire a dishwasher, can it?

Dishwashers probably get benefits.

Well, fuck. I searched for the site. Who's a think someone would have posted a link to a blog entry ABOUT the site without actually posting a link to the site itself...

Too bad this is a double. I'd eat this twice.

Korea FTW on the trays, too.

Korea for the win.

Denied! England has mom's pushing fish and chips through holes in fences. You really can't top that.

It's to stop our kids from having to eat crap like brocolli with their pizzas.

For some of these kids, this'll be the best meal they'll have all day.

The chocolate milk thing is perplexing to me; oh sure, when I was a kid I devoured it, but as an adult I'd never put it in a school lunch.

Wouldn't it be cool if they ground up Bob Dylan and fed him to schoolchildren? We could do a google maps gps mashup of where he has been eaten, all over the world.

What's wrong with chocolate milk? it's got more sugar in it, sure, but regular milk already has a fair bit. Most kids need the calories and if more of them drink chocolate milk than regular, what's the problem? I suppose it's a bit much if you drink it every day but it's still mostly milk.

No, but disposable dishes are probably significantly more sanitary, which is a big issue in a school.

Is Bob Dylan made of chocolate? I find that very perplexing. How is he part of a nutrious lunch? does Jamie Oliver know about this?

Considering how many restaurants use real dishes I find this difficult to accept.
