Another Superfluous Post About Hipsters.

I've been accused several times of being a hipster. It's almost become an everyday thing at the school.
So, I figured it would be fitting to make my first post to MeFi to be regarding Hipsterism.
I'm almost an expert on the field of Hipsters, and I plan to take part in this year's Pecha Kucha on the topic of--of course--hipsters.
I'm not going to give the most obvious of facts, (you already know them, this IS MetaFilter, after all.) but I will give a few links to some hipster information that I find clever or entertaining.
First, let's start with the science of hipsterdom. Now, I subscribe to Psychology Today, and though it is very bias, I find it very entertaining and I learn a pretty good amount each time I read it. The problem with the magazine is that 1. it is bi-monthly, so i hardly get to see its pretty face; 2. the cover pictures are always a little risque, meaning I can't really take them into school.
Secondly, we can move a little deeper into truly showing who hipsters are in their sensitive little shells. There's blogging as a must, and, more specifically, Tumblogging. Probably the most prominent hipster Tumblog is Stuff Hipsters Hate, and I must admit that I love reading it from time to time. (Breanna's a nice writer) There's also the Alt Report--Hipster Run-off is the most popular. Personally, I don't much like Hipster Run-off because, in my opinion, she kind of writes like a douchey hipster. More so than one would expect.
Finally, there's making fun of the hipsters. There is a plethora of web-comics about hipsters, but my favorite is, by far, Hipster Hitler. There are also plenty of videos on YouTube, and even a meme--Hipster Kitty. All of which are hilarious.
Now this post has been a little obscure, hasn't it? That's the point; you probably wouldn't understand it.
