Will USD5k cash make you snitch up Julian Assange to CBS

We have all read about the use of internet mobs in china, now CBS radio's Brian Banmiller, is using the web to offer USD5k for anyone to find Julian Assange, WikiLeaks founder and photograph him.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Probably better as a comment in existing wikileaks threads. -- mathowie
I can't afford $5k, but if Assange sends CBS a snap of himself in the mirror making the duckface I will contribute $100.

I would have suggested linking to the Wiki for Banmiller, but he doesn't seem to have one. In fact he seems to little internet presence beyond some self-promotion sites. Lo and behold, the third link is site of which he sits as the chairman of the board.
I question whether we should cooperate with him and use metafilter to drive traffic to his sites. It could be seen as encouraging bad behavior. But it is difficult since the subject really has no web presence.
If I were Assange, I would collect the cash and give it to Wikileaks.

Bonus if the GPS coordinates are included in the EXIF.

This leaves a bad taste for me as well. Why are we supporting this guy in this?

Is he still wanted and everything? And $5k is all they're offering as a reward for finding him?

I didn't post this link to support the effort, in reality the people who know where Julian Assange is won't give him up for $5k. I posted it as I am pretty sure that the metafites can figure out how to nullify Banmiller's efforts. Assange looks like about 1/3rd of teachers that have every taught me: "I'm Sparticus! No, I'm Sparticus!"

Is that what MetaFilter is for? Because I don't think it is.

Funny, this coincidental snapshot was just posted on reddit.

The best way to fight this is to drop about a million photos on his lap. It will really be so easy that is is guaranteed to happen.

Not what MetaFilter is for, and so flagged. Post it in one of the open threads.
