Perlman and Zukerman in London - 1997

I saw there two play together here at the NAC in Ottawa a few years ago (Zukerman is the director of the national orchestra). It was mostly a Perlman solo event, but Zukerman did join him for a few pieces. Unfortunately I don't know enough about music to tell you if this was one of them.

I'd never heard of this piece nor of the composer. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I saw Perlman play solo at Cornell in the early '80s; he's amazing.

Thanks for linking. I, too, was unaware of this piece or composer. Bach's passacaglia in c minor (for organ) is one of my all-time favorites. I'm sure I will revisit this video many times.

For a more aggressive version, there's also Julia Fischer & Daniel Muller-Schott.
