The MTV-era rock video animation can be found on YT, although most versions have audio disabled. There's also an animation for Pleasure of Love

The aforementioned Stop Making Sense soundtrack performance of "Genius of Love." Looks frozen to me!

Yaah Nacional Records! Sadly, the live album sounded so very sad, like an old band playing at a 3rd-rate bar or a show on some fairgrounds.

I was just listening to Genius of Love an hour ago! What an awesome beat.

I'm having a massive "get off my lawn" moment here where I simply cannot understand how this works in other people's brains. It's kind of like "if you like Robert DiNiro, you'll love this duroc hog we've transplanted his liver into".

Gotta love the odd stressed syllable on Smokey Rob-IN-son.
Last summer I saw Stop Making Sense at a local movie theater as part of its concert film series. Everybody sat in their seats until Genius of Love, at which point folks from all sides of the auditorium just got up and started dancing and they didn't stop for the rest of the movie. I'm sure the participation was more a domino effect than anything (first person on the empty dance floor attracts the rest) but the fact remains that the song had, on its own volition, turned the room upside down.

More like, if you enjoy drinking Campari, here are some cocktails that use Campari.
Feel free to come hang out on my lawn, by the way. The sun is out and we're drinking Negronis.

P.S., "Genius of Love" came on at a party last night and lit up the dancefloor. Sadly, the party got shut down about one minute into the song, but not before someone from another room wandered in chanting "JAMES BROWWWWN? JAMES BROWWWWN!" Made my evening.
