I really enjoy the raw quality of the mixing/beats and the flow is actually very decent. Has a great "underground" feel. Thanks for sharing!
Another underground group that is very similar is Binary Star. If you like Siah, you should definitely check them out here.

Directions is a standout track. Beats thump. If it sounds familiar, it reminded me of Blood Rush (F.T., Tommy Tee, P. Dap). F.T. is another "best" 90's rapper you never heard of.

HAHA WRONG! I've totally heard of him!
I still have the EP on Fondle 'Em Records kickin around somewhere. I tried. Oh, did I try! I played that shit for anyone who would listen. In the end that wound up another of my "just for me" records.
My fave was No Soles' Dopest Opus. Gravity was pretty good too, but I think Redman used the sample to greater effect on the Artifacts "Cummin' Through Ya Fuckin' Block."

After looking at the photos of Siah and Yeshua in 1997 from the article, I'm also kinda surprised at how little the fashions the hip-hop kids wear have changed in 15 years.

The Mystery is also great. It's a little bit of 3rd Bass, and a smidge of 'the rapper's boys'. Man the 90's were the best.

Siah isn't the best rapper, but he's got a good voice on these. The beats are simple enough that it gets trancelike when his flow mesmerizes you back into the sirens, horns and whines. Good stuff here. I like Gravity and Untitled. I'm just going to let this play in the background for a while. Thank you AceRock.
