Yeah, this was a clever idea that ran longer than it should have. Make it like 2:30 and it's golden.

Don't know the show but I like the movie. It's like Dexter, the Early Years.

Alex Dunphy is my favorite character on the show.
But it needs to be edited for length. Take out the horror/drama sound bed and Ariel Winter could use it as her reel for every scene she's been in during the whole series.
It suffers from the same problem that some SNL skits have, take a good premise and run it into the ground.

That, in a nutshell, is modern comedy. Phooey.

Yeah, I can just imagine the process though: first, scan through all the episodes and find any content that could be misread as creepy or perfectly misconstrued, do a rough arrangement, go back and find even more things that aren't exactly scenes with her but work well, realize now that there were other scenes that didn't seem good at first, but would now work well with the new stuff...crap...now you have way too much good stuff...you can't get rid of this...this is all gold....(No, this is the moment where you need an editor or an outside pair of eyes)...
However, even if it was long, that was really good. There was a clear beat in the middle where it should have ended, but c'mon, that was good.

Makes me almost wish I had seen the show.
OTOH, yay, psychogeeks! Long live the bad brains!

That was fun, but I agree that it was too long. I didn't get to the end, because the premise didn't hold me enough.
I'm a bigger fan of Requiem for a Day Off, but I think there's a broader premise, so more to work with.

Any scene with Sofia Vergara screeching and doing brownface are horrible enough for me, thanks.

I'm a big fan of Community as a Basic Instinct-esque thriller. I've watched it a thousand times and the last bit still makes me jump.

How is this done? Is there some video editing software or something?
