All men are created equal. (Just some more equal than others.)
What a shame! Even after that wonderful job or aviation safety, reducing waits and prices? Oh wait, that never happened...

Wow, how pathetic are those cabinet officials? Just have them fly on government planes if they are:
a) going to subvert your mission to rebuild confidence in air travel by not flying on "normal" flights
b) increasing the relative risk to everyone else flying
c) disregarding the advice of the head of security at the FAA

Those "pathetic cabinet officals" are in the direct line of succession to the presidency. They have every right to extra security.

But wasn't the whole point of riding on commercial airliners that if our governmental officials feel safe enough to ride then we should too? If they want high security they probably shouldn't have even stepped into the airport.

Yeah, it seems a little duplicitous.
Sort of like telling someone at great length that jumping into the river at the bottom of a bridge is perfectly safe, nobody is going to get hurt. Hey! I'll demonstrate for you by making the first jump, but, umm, I'm gonna wear this big ol' harness and tether for my jump... You won't mind, will you? Pay no attention, it's just for looks... What's that? No, no, you don't need one. Believe me, it's safe.
