Candy Bar Math

Candy Bar Math A Brunching Shuttlecock link and almost certainly a double post. But what the hell: let's gorge on candy.
Go ahead and say it, Shadowkeeper: what's your favourite candy bar? :-)
Mine is Kit Kat, preferably in the "chunky" version. Though one Halloween about ten years ago, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, some ungrateful(but well-attired) brats dumped a dozen KitKats my mother had just given them in the snow... which gave them that extra edge, btw.

Woo. Skor = 5 out of 6. Mostly because I can't remember having ever had an Oh Henry, and have no earthly clue what's in it.
Never had a "Big Hunk" either.
The candy bar version, that is.
Cute link.

"Your score: 5. Not bad at all. You must be very popular come Halloween." Nope, I'm not answering the door tonight! All my candy are belong to me!

Man, I remember the primo numero uno candy bar of all time: The Marathon. It was this weird chain-link shape and was chocolate and caramel.

Apparently, I was one of the few people who enjoyed the Reggie Jackson candy bar. It's too bad, I remember it as being quite tasty.

The Mr. Big candy bar -- White nougat, caramel, peanuts, and Nilla Wafers dipped in chocolate. It took about a fortnight to eat, if I remember correctly.

I got a pitiful 1. When I started smoking (what a smart idea!), I pretty much waved goodbye to my sweet tooth.
I do remember Big Hunks, however. They were useful even before you attempted--probably unsuccessfully--to eat them, as they could be used to bludgeon other kids to death.

"It's chocolate bar you freaks not candy bar!!!! Damn Yankees" (he muttered to himself)
I've always wondered why Canadians and Americans call them something completely different.
As for the Oh Henry bar, very very good, lots of peanuts and caramel.

For a while in college I had a hankerin' for Sugar Daddies but as my taste buds recovered from that sticky goodness, I discovered the Heath. Mmmmmmmm......*drool*

Shadowkeeper: what's your favourite candy bar?
That would be Hershey's Cookies 'n' Mint, Bob. As a kid, though, my favorite were those ... uhh, hmm. They were, like, nougat or something, something chewy. Chew ... Charlston Chew, that's it! Yeah, you grab a couple of those and throw 'em in your freezer. Oh man, I may have to do that tonight -- it's been decades since I had those. I hope they still exist.

Maybe because I did so poorly on the math test (only got the first and last ones right), I much prefer this other, more interesting candy bar quiz.

Canucks call it "chocolate bar" because up here, they're made with "actual chocolate", as opposed to a chocolate-like candy shell.
I've heard of all the chocolate bars mentioned in this link, but I've never eaten most of them. What's a "100 Grand" bar like? What about a "Baby Ruth"?

I'm pretty sure that if, in the process of trying to "jinx" someone, you inadvertantly jinx yourself by saying the same thing twice at the same time, you hafta buy the other guy ice cream. I like Rocky Road.

At the height (!?) of the Orlando Magic's popularity, Shaq has his own candy bar, which we dubbed the Big Lumbering Oaf Bar (or, succinctly, the BLO Bar. "Man, this BLOs!") It had every imaginable ingredient, so we figured it was just leftover floor sweepings from the rest of the major candy factories.
We thoroughly enjoyed harassing the local confectionary by asking for "spunow" (read: spew-now) bars, only to realize they were simply Mounds bars put into the candy rack upside-down.
Ahh, the memories...

Succa:
A baby ruth is sort of like a snickers, but drier and not as good. More nougat, but no caramel (or maybe significantly less caramel)
A 100 grand bar is chocolate with crisped rice wrapped around a crisped rice filled caramel. It is the absolute best candy bar I`ve ever had. Better than Twix. Better than "Big Bar" better than Whatchamacallit. Better than the Orange Kit Kats. Better, in fact, than anything I don`t make myself.
