Conquer this very small dungeon. It's harder than it looks.
Levels 1 and 2 done, but that's all for now.

Just finished it, though I don't think I got the good ending. Super fun!

nah... I got to the part where you can see hundreds of blobs and skulls waiting to trade turns with you and started to think about my future.

3257 turns, easily a thousand of which were in that last room.

Nice little puzzle game, the way time only advances every two turns solves a lot of problems in this genre. Not a big fan of the save point system, but it's not wise to overthink a simple game like this. I quit on level 4.

4480 turns. The all-Wizard room drove me mad.

3156. That was fun. At first I thought killing the wizard was spawning 3 more, but then I figured out that wasn't true so I headbutted all of them.

Are my stereotypes out of line with the general public, again? Because if you show me a turn-based game with heavily pixelated graphics, my first thought is never going to be, "I bet that game's pretty easy."
If you want me to assume your game's easy, make the game based on a 2D physics engine, and then add either adorable cartoon animals or zombies.

It has a long time since I have said this (and I mean this positively):
The fire puzzle on level 8 gave me a bit of trouble!

A lot of the combat puzzles have to do with whether there are an odd or even number of tiles between you and a monster. Breakable jars become tools to "swap" odd and even spacing. Reminds me of the mutilated checkerboard problem.

3006 with the super secret bonus level. Fires and the first spiders account for more of those turns than they should. Thanks for posting this.

I had played GunBrick recently, from the same people. It has the similar tiny pixelated aesthetic, and while the enemies don't move as turn-based, it also makes you count steps because you need to roll over to point your gun in the right direction.

2411. Didn't quite get what happened on the final level; went to the room on the right and the game just ended. But in any case, it was an excellent waste of time.

3189. Hellish fun-by-attrition, but, hey, I didn't spend all those years chipping my way though puzzle games and not learn a little something about challenge.

[SPOILER] If you get all the coins and go to the left, you can buy that wizrobe fireball. Then there's a bonus level where you get to use it.

For those who didn't get fleacircus's reference, DROD is a game using a similar turn based move mechanic, but slightly more complicated. It's been several years since I last tried the open source version.

I got the trophy but the number of turns showed and then went away and I couldn't figure out how to get it back. I think was probably something in the trillions.
