That was fun.
Was looking forward to the big payoff -- did I overlook it?

Anyone have a link or tool that lets you play it in reverse?

Obligatory Drop
Yeah, this seems more like a direct, shall we say, homage, than something new...

I'm glad it wasn't just me. I suppose that is just a side-effect of the overstimulated world we live in, that a neat little project like this is met with a solid "MEH". I mean, it wasn't necessarily a bad execution, but I was thoroughly unimpressed, having not only seen it done before, but done better.

Here's another one, and I'll tell you up front that the big payoff is that it was done on one Super 8 reel of film with no post editing. Everything was done in-camera: EVOL

Also, I kept waiting for the lyrics to start on this song, to see if Messe Kopp was going to go full homage on Fatlip and learn how to lip-synch his rap backwards. Alas. This was a cool video, I liked some of the creative things they had him doing, but against some of the more inspired entries in this particular genre of short video it falls a bit flat.

Fitting that much of the text shown in the video was in a right-to-left writing system.

I feel bad that my response reads as "Meh." Because it wasn't and because I disapprove of Meh Culture in general and try to resist it. I watched all the way through!
By big payoff, I meant that I was wondering towards the end about the reverse stunt that tops all the others, but also, especially, the stunt that gives all the others some context and meaning.
What state of the world or character essence of The Walker could lead that particular series of events?
Still, it's impressive and clever.

dazed_one, that's exactly what the mattress reminded me of in the beginning (the end).
Add me to the meh chorus, as much as I like to meh quietly/privately. I just don't see the story, or why the reverse is all that different/meaningful. The Coldplay video reverse works because the song is going "back to the start."

What I thought was going to happen was that somewhere towards the end something was going to happen that was Forwards, and that could not possible have been filmed in the way that the rest was. Something like with the bottle of wine, maybe. If that had been spilt on the ground, instead of sucked up to the bottle. Just something to make you go "hang on..." and then have to rewind and look for the joins.
That'd be pretty cool, actually. Some magician should try that.
