Time Spent With Cats is Never Wasted

"When I play with my cat, how do I know that she is not passing time with me rather than I with her?" Russian photographer
Andy Prokh has captured adorable photos of his daughter Catherine who grew up with their gray British Shorthair cat.
No that's just what size cats are, all the other ones are too small and delicate looking. (grew up with a Maine Coon big enough to be used as a pillow)

A shop near me has a teatowel with a picture very similar to the one with the cat wearing the round glasses. Is this a reference to something else or is this just a coincidence?
(I really like the teatowel and if it still there when Quonsmas rolls around again then a lucky MeFite may well find themsleves owning it.)

I love these pictures, but especially because the cat reminds me so much of my husband's cat.

I think we've found a successful candidate for a brother for our cat. Would love a British Shorthair.

The two painter/model pictures are a true commentary on kittycat narcissism.

Am I the only one who was bugged by the rotating shadows on the apples in the the juggling image?

Something tells me that that cat is the boss of his domain in every way.

Why do so many Russians have British Shorthairs? Seriously. It's a thing. We bought our two British Shorthairs from a Russian couple, to say nothing of Guilty Cat's ethnic heritage.
Also, these photos are ADORABLE.

I love these. I had a cat for an older sister growing up, and I spent many hours involved in play with her much like some of these. I've spoken about how much her death still lingers with me, even after all these years, but I must say that it is only the case because of how much her life did too.
Phoo, if you're still chasing chipmunks somewhere, give them an extra swat for me. Cheers.

The pictures were very nice, but I kept hoping for one that was totally natural where the poses didn't feel so forced. That said, the cat is very cooperative, as is the child.

Loved these. I'm mostly fascinated in how well they were composed and how much the cat seemed to participate.

As I looked through the photos I kept thinking "Oh, that's my favourite. Wait, this one's my favourite. Aww, look! Okay, that's my favourite. Wait...."
