My favorite was Ben's Chili Bowl. That one was just perfect.

Peeps who need Peeps are the luckiest Peeps in the world.

I didn't realize I was somewhat of a Peeps purist until I had to muffle a twinge of outrage over the usage of non-Peep materials in some of these entries, particularly the Seurat finalist. Sculpted clay? How dare you, sir.

Would be even better if the Secret Service limo was replaced with a "Fully Loaded" Lincoln Navigator.

If you can't eat it once done, you've missed the point in making a construction out of a confection.
Gingerbread houses show us the way: 100% consumable.
I would be okay with allowing some non-peep confections in the diorama, but what is with the paint and felt and clay and cardboard?
No.

Has anyone ever entered a red light district XXX peep show Peep diorama?
There's the strip club one (first on the linked page)

This seems like a kind of depressing year in Peepdom. A funeral, the do-nothing congress, and Zero Dark Thirty? Yikes.

Though, I gotta say, Peep widow was looking mighty fine in her mourning. I was trying to decide which design house she went to.

seanmpuckett: Yeah but they're making these things out of Peeps. Very stale Peeps. I question whether those meet the definition of "100% consumable" to begin with.
(Although a s'more made out of a fire-roasted Peep is a fine thing; I maintain this is because it burns off the more volatile chemicals.)

I agree. I think adding some arms and legs are okay, but sticking a Peep head on a person body is weak sauce. Peeps should generally be Peep-shaped. The Peep Show diorama is funny because the Peeps are just themselves.

For the true Peep diorama of Osama bin Laden's death completist, I feel compelled to mention that last year's contest had a couple examples.

Did we really not post about this when it was published a month ago? (And by "we" I mean "one of you guys," because the blue still scares me a little.)
